yea 8 is no where as good as 7 IMO. Its too mobile based. Not good for laptops

You're right you know, touchscreen on a laptop serves no purpose. But I got a 2.2 Ghz 8gb RAM 1TB harddrive Laptop for $262 US, so I guess I should be somewhat pleased.

Dang my 3 year old hp with a 2.4 Ghz i7 with 8gb ram and 1tb hard drive and 17in screen cost me $650 when i bought it three years ago

It's got a Celeron CPU though (N2840). But it's a 15,6" with wireless, bluetooth 4.o, USB 3.0 and HDMI. Screen is rubbish though... 1366 X 768.

Hdmi out is nice. Hook it up to the tv then. Thats a hell of a deal for that money though

This is just my "need a laptop when going somewhere laptop" though.. but yeah, nice enough, and it's priced as one would expect here in Norway (this is the lowest tier we can get here in fact).

Indeed, my current mobile have almost 4k the amount of cpu power than my first computer had.. it's just insane how fast things progress.

I've got a Huawei G630. :P if you count 4 cores as one that ones got more than 4000x the cpu power of my first computer (a C64) :P
